A true challenge: 6 Moodle eLearning platform for 6 countries, integrated into a single project called HarleyReed. Beautiful but complicated by the nature of flows implemented: each candidate file is created from the very beginning, is then sent by mail with offline approval in the country of registration and post-approval access to the courses.
Founded as a UK partnership of lawyers and accountants in 1991, Harley Reed was incorporated as a UK limited company in 1993. The Ghana office was opened as a sister company in 1996 and in 2009 the business was restructured with the establishment of Harley Reed International as the UK based holding company of a growing pan-African business.
Now based in 6 countries, Harley Reed intends to further expand across the European, African and Middle East markets to offer a broad range of integrated professional services.
About the project
http://edu.harleyreed.com is an eLearning system implemented for a customer in the UK with offices in 5 countries on the African continent (Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa). For each countrythe system is available on a subdomain, all information is centralized in the UK.
Each eLearning platform includes a specific workflow by placing a student in one or more courses by completing an online complex form. Ultimately, it generates and sends via email the offline folder of the student. The eLearning system is integrated with a customized BigBlueButton web conference server.
