This eLearning platform has over 1000 students after the first year. We was aware of the importance of LISAL visibility through this project and with it we have improved our vision and we have raised our standards for our clients.
InforMEA is a project of the MEA Information and Knowledge Managament (IKM) Initiative with the support of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the European Union. The MEA IKM initiative currently includes 43 international and regional legally binding instruments from 18 Secretariats hosted by four UN organizations and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
The eLearning platform is available in 6 languages (English, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, French, Arabic) for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
The eLearning platform was developed on the open-source Moodle platform and fully integrated with the official website https://www.informea.org/. Custom modules were implemented to define certain required workflows. After one year of operation, in the platform are enrolled thousands of students worldwide in different courses.
