The major difficulty of this Giasistem project was to migrate from a very old version of the eCommerce platform, to the newest OpenCart. However, we coped with challenges with great success and the result is one that it honor us.

In 2014 the company imported more than 50 tonnes od second hand IT technology, brands such as Dell, HP, Compaq and Fujitsu Siemens, Acer, Lenovo (IBM), Xerox, Samsung, Lexmark, Philips.

giasistem.ro was one of the biggest challenges because, among other things, we’ve done the migration of the eCommerce site from version 1.5 OpenCart site to the newest, 2.3. Those 2 versions have very different structure of the database and the actual migration involved also the testing of the entire site and its functionalities.
With a greatly improved theme and a layout more attractive for mobile devices, the site giasistem.ro has obtained a modern revival.
